So it’s been a while.\u00a0 School is going well.\u00a0 The kids are kind of squirrelly, but there all pretty good kids and they’re interested in learning German, which is important.\u00a0 I like the school and the other teachers.\u00a0 It’s sad that it’s only temporary; frankly, I hope the old German teacher doesn’t come back.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, it may be the case that because I’m a new teacher, I might not be allowed to take kids to Germany yet.\u00a0 It might be possible to go if I can get the German teacher from West to come with.\u00a0 But I get the feeling from her that she only goes to Germany with kids as much as she has to.\u00a0 She said if she didn’t have to go this summer, she wouldn’t.<\/p>\n
Will is in Washington D.C. right now visiting his friend Ben and he’s starting a new tech support job soon.\u00a0 He’s over qualified for it and it doesn’t pay very well, but it’s only temporary.\u00a0 Kari just had a new baby, Emmett Gene Olson.\u00a0 I got to go in the O.R. with her.\u00a0 It was interesting and neat to see the baby right away.<\/p>\n
That’s mostly all I have to report.\u00a0 We’re going to Will’s parents’ house for Thanksgiving and we’re going to my parents for Christmas, since Will’s parents will be in Florida at his sister’s place.\u00a0 I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and seeing the new baby again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
