Day 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On day 4, we did a bunch of important stuff.\u00a0 First we had breakfast.\u00a0 Crab cakes again, on top of an English muffin, topped with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce, accompanied by a bloody Mary. \u00a0Ben&#8217;s other sister Devi (like Davey), her husband Andy, and Andy&#8217;s mom brought the stuff for the bloody Marys.\u00a0 The glasses were rimmed with Old Bay, which seems to be the official seasoning of Maryland.\u00a0 It&#8217;s red, so it looks nice.\u00a0 It&#8217;s also what we used to season the crabs.<\/p>\n<p>With breakfast over with, the four of us went downtown to see some stuff and hopefully score free tickets to a Shakespeare play.\u00a0 Turns out you can only get tickets for the next showing so we changed our schedule around a bit and saw the play before our other sightseeing.\u00a0 <em>All&#8217;s Well That Ends Well <\/em>has quite a few funny moments, but the central plot is weird and I can see why it&#8217;s one of Shakespeare&#8217;s less popular plays.\u00a0 Part of the weirdness is probably a result of the time period during which it was written.\u00a0 Mostly, the &#8220;hero&#8221; of the play seems to have no redeeming qualities and the heroine also makes some questionable decisions.\u00a0 But it ends well I guess?\u00a0 So&#8230; yeah.<\/p>\n<p>After that we had to see some stuff.\u00a0 That shadow in the upper right is my finger.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0002.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Capitol\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0002_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Will is very excited about the Washington Monument.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0005.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Monument\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0005_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the WWII memorial.\u00a0 The water is kept extremely clean.\u00a0 The Lincoln Memorial is very small in the background.\u00a0 The columns on the right extend nearly to where I&#8217;m standing.\u00a0 There are a bunch on the left too out of frame.\u00a0 The have the states written on them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0006.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"WWII\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0006_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The reflection pool is doing its thing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0009.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Monument\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0009_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0008.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Pool\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0008_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the boys are doing their thing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0012.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Pool\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/washingtondc_trip\/IMG_0012_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Us girls are normal;
