{"id":1176,"date":"2013-02-24T19:50:29","date_gmt":"2013-02-25T00:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maryjoandwill.com\/?p=1176"},"modified":"2013-02-24T19:50:29","modified_gmt":"2013-02-25T00:50:29","slug":"burtday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maryjoandwill.com\/?p=1176","title":{"rendered":"Burtday!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was my burtday.\u00a0 Will made me supper and cake and he got me a sewing machine.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve already messed with it a little bit.\u00a0 I made myself a skirt out of one of Will&#8217;s old shirts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/joni_sewing_01_small.JPG\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It turned out a little shorter than I wanted, but it&#8217;s not bad for a first project.\u00a0 I just cut the shirt under the armpits and then cut off a strip to make into a drawstring.\u00a0 The machine has a bunch of different settings, one of which will automatically make the stitches for button holes; that was pretty awesome.\u00a0 So I made two button holes in the front for the drawstring to come out of.\u00a0 Then I just hemmed the top with the drawstring inside of it.<\/p>\n<p>Will however was not so pleased:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/willz.org\/hosted\/blog\/joni_sewing_02_small.JPG\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was my burtday.\u00a0 Will made me supper and cake and he got me a sewing machine.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve already messed with it a little bit.\u00a0 I made myself a skirt out of one of Will&#8217;s old shirts.
