We’re moved in… somewhat. We got a ton of stuff down here over the weekend and have been working on getting things unpacked. It’s actually gone really well/fast. The only issues we’ve run into is that when we unpacked the silverware we got from the wedding, we ended up with a pack of forks and two packs of knives… but no spoons! Obviously someone was messing with us. Well done someone, well done.
On a bit more depressing note, that ELL position Joni mentioned in the last post didn’t pan out. There wasn’t any sort of qualification issue, it was just that they couldn’t change her existing German classes to get the ELL into the day. Defeated by scheduling, gah!
But back on a lighter note, we’re planning a very nice video of the apartment, so look for that… sometime. I don’t dare say “soon” because we’re swamped with Joni’s job starting, me organizing the apartment, and me looking for a job. So it’ll get done, it just might be a bit.
