It was my burtday. Will made me supper and cake and he got me a sewing machine. I’ve already messed with it a little bit. I made myself a skirt out of one of Will’s old shirts.
It turned out a little shorter than I wanted, but it’s not bad for a first project. I just cut the shirt under the armpits and then cut off a strip to make into a drawstring. The machine has a bunch of different settings, one of which will automatically make the stitches for button holes; that was pretty awesome. So I made two button holes in the front for the drawstring to come out of. Then I just hemmed the top with the drawstring inside of it.
Will however was not so pleased:
lol, I did chuckle a little with the second picture. You guys are fun. Can’t wait to see what other projects you come up with with your new sewing machine.
