Eggcellent

First, apologies for the obvious pun.

It’s been a bit since we’ve updated, but not much has been going on. Last Friday we had a little Christmas party where be made cookies for/with the teaching assistants. It was a good time. There was even a little gift exchange.

What I’m really excited about though is what we’re doing today. The department Mary Jo works for at the college is having their Christmas party tonight. Mary Jo said she’d bring some food, so today we’re going to make little pickle-ham-cream cheese-rolls. We’re also going to make deviled eggs. We tried a small batch yesterday to see how well they’d taste with Austrian foodstuffs. They turned out well. I’m pretty pumped to make a big batch.

Unfortunately I don’t get to eat any. That might be hard…

  • I’d say. Those deviled eggs are amazing! I really need to learn how to make them.

  • ok I’m a bit curious. What does it mean to you to apologize? Ok,yea Like you’re not going to do puns any more. lol
Have fun tonight at the party. We are having ANOTHER SNOW STORM and kids are coming home early. ugh

  • Deviled eggs are actually really easy:

The trick is to use old eggs – makes them easier to shell. After that it’s cake… er, eggs.

When it comes to puns, “apologize” only means that I’m aware this will cause you pain. Doesn’t mean you’re getting out of it. 🙂

  • They’re tasty.
